Franck Amato, Founder

Franck’s expertise was forged in the field. With over two decades in crisis and risk management—from Special Operations to leading a surgical hospital as Executive Director, and advising international institutions—he brings a battle-tested perspective to emergency preparedness. His career spans the full spectrum: from tactical response to strategic leadership, giving him unparalleled insight into managing threats at every level.

Yet more than his CV has prepared him to guide individuals and businesses through emergency situations: as a husband, father, world traveler and entrepreneur, he sees both the human toll and human potential inherent in any crisis, be it natural disaster, human made or other. He founded Project S.P.E. to tap into that potential - for resiliency, leadership, and confidence, motivated by a desire to help individuals and organizations overcome challenges and come out stronger on the other side.

Stjarna (Shar•na) Amato, Co-Founder

Stjarna met Franck while studying communications in Northern California, and together they built a life across continents—raising three children while navigating the challenges of military deployments, frequent moves, and the uncertainties of service.

As an active mother and Fortune 100 corporate professional with 20+ years of experience, she mastered the art of emotional resilience—transforming the stress of separations and potential danger into unwavering strength. Her ability to adapt, lead, and thrive under pressure became the foundation of Project SPE, where she ensures our solutions are as human-centered as they are tactical.

Because true preparedness isn’t just about skills—it’s about steadfastness when life is at its most unpredictable.
